Station F is the world’s largest start-up campus. Located at Halle Freyssinet in central Paris, this program boasts 51,000 square meters of space, over 1,000 start-ups, and 600 rooms where emerging entrepreneurs can live.
“We called this building Station F, like Station France, Station Femmes, Station Founders or Station Freyssinet because Freyssinet was a great architect and a great entrepreneur,” French billionaire and Iliad founder Xavier Niel told President Emmanuel Macron when he toured the campus for the grand opening.
The program provides start-up programming, access to VC funds, mentorship, and events. Partner organizations include some of the biggest corporations in the world. Facebook, LVMH, BNP Paribas, Microsoft and Adidas are among the companies involved in the program.
President Macron has expressed support for Station F on multiple occasions and one of his priorities is to create an environment in France that is more friendly to entrepreneurs and tech companies. Foreign leaders and business executives often make Station F a stop when visiting Paris.
