Embassy of France to host a virtual Bastille Day celebration

The French Embassy in the United States is celebrating online for this year’s Fête nationale du 14 juillet – Bastille Day.

The virtual event will feature an address by French Ambassador Philippe Étienne, music, culture, gastronomy, contests and more. At 5 pm ET on Bastille Day, there will be a livestream celebration. You can find an extensive list of ways to celebrate the day here.

The Embassy’s FrancoFiles podcast will also feature an episode about the storming of the Bastille.

The full program will be available on the Embassy’s website, which will be updated with events through July 14.
