Louvre Museum: Richelieu Wing

Published: October 29, 2020

The Richelieu wing at the Louvre Museum in Paris is named for French clergyman and statesman, Armand Jean du Plessis, Duke of Richelieu, commonly known as Cardinal Richelieu. It is one of the Louvre’s three wings.

Collections featured in this section of the museum include sculptures, decorative arts, Mesopotamian antiquities, and European paintings.

Please enjoy these photos of the Richelieu wing provided by Dewey Rodefer, a French-American born in Paris who is currently completing his masters in Architecture at ENSA Paris-Val-de-Seine.
