Janelle Giddings
With over two decades of experience in arts administration, cultural programming, and nonprofits, Janelle brings a dynamic blend of operational expertise and creative vision to her role as Program Director of the French-American Cultural Foundation. She works closely with senior leadership, staff, and partners to support the Foundation’s mission of promoting cultural exchange between France and the United States.
Janelle’s career has spanned senior roles in business and nonprofit management, gallery direction, collections management, and curatorial work, with past roles at institutions including Gold Leaf Studios, Burton Marinkovich Fine Art, the Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum, and as Collections Manager for an extensive private art collection. She has curated exhibitions and led art tours with the International Monetary Fund Family Association (IMFFA) and supported numerous cultural initiatives in both administrative and creative capacities. She has lived and worked in multiple parts of the United States, Asia, and Europe, including in France and Luxembourg, where she is currently based.
At the Foundation, Janelle designs and implements innovative programs, manages logistics for high-profile events, and liaises with the Embassy of France, cultural institutions, and artists to foster collaboration. She also plays a key role in financial oversight, donor engagement, and board support.
Janelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in both Art History and Psychology from Rutgers University and continues to promote the arts and cultural exchange through thoughtful leadership and strategic vision.
