Mimi Forwood is a noted philanthropist. Originally born in England, and growing up in Australia, Mimi spent her formative years living in France, where she returned in later years to study and graduate from the prestigious La Sorbonne in Paris (University of Paris). Mimi is also a graduate of French Political Science from Sydney University and holds a Diplôme Superieure from the French Chamber of Commerce. She was Senior Curator of the Osborne Fine Art Gallery and Curator and Convener of the Banque Nationale de Paris Art Exhibitions throughout Australia. As well as her charitable work in the US and deep connection to France, Mimi is a Councillor of the Australian Historical Art Fund & Heritage Government Residences. She has been a member of The Australian Fund since 2014. Her interests include antiques, art, bridge, gardens, and travel. She currently resides in Adelaide, South Australia.
