Peter Selfridge is a long-time public servant who was the United States Chief of Protocol from 2014 to 2017. Holding the rank of Ambassador, in this role Peter served as the link between the White House and foreign ambassadors and visiting dignitaries. In addition, his office managed Blair House, the official guesthouse of the President of the United States. Prior to this, Peter served in a number of roles within the Clinton and Obama White House, as well as working for past presidential campaigns and spending time working as Legislative Correspondent and Staff Assistant in the office of Senator Tom Harkin in the early mid-90s.
Currently, Peter is Senior Vice President & Global Head of Digital Government/International Affairs for SAP which works to encourage the digital transformation of government decision-making and services worldwide. Peter is specifically responsible for promoting technological transformation in the public sector and the positive role played by digital technologies in addressing economic and societal challenges around the world.
