The Embassy of France to the United States of America, in partnership with the French-American Cultural Foundation are pleased to present the panel discussion “Cuisine as Diplomacy: Around the Table” which will be held in the auditorium of the Maison Française.

With the participation of :

– Ambassador Rufus Gifford, United States Chief of Protocol

– Ambassador Guillaume Gomez, Personal Representative of the President of France for Gastronomy

– Dr. Libby O’Connell, Author and Historian, History Channel

– Monsieur Bertrand Rondot, Chief Curator, Museum of Versailles

Location: La Maison Française, Embassy of France, 4101 Reservoir Rd, NW, Washington, DC 20007

The link to access the live streaming will be sent shortly before the beginning of the event. Please book a “live streaming only” ticket to receive the link.

Please note that proof of full vaccination and ID will be required to enter the French Embassy grounds. Masks are recommended throughout the discussion.

Each person attending the event must have a ticket registered in his name and a government-issued ID that matches the name on the reservation in order to enter the Embassy. Due to strict security measures, please arrive on time, and allow extra time for security screening.
